We’re starting off the Get in Gear Series with our Indoor Triathlon. Join us Saturday March 11th, at St. Bernards Health & Wellness for this one of a kind event. If you’ve ever wanted to do a tri, this is the perfect event for you. Swim 300 meters in our lap pool, head upstairs to our stationary bikes and ride for 5 miles, then jump on a treadmill to finish with 2 miles. Very beginner friendly and family friendly for everyone to come watch.
Every year, the Chi Omega chapter at Arkansas State University works diligently to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. One of our most popular events is the Run-For-A-Wish 5k. This year, we are excited to once again have a LIVE event! We can’t wait to see everyone in person and help an amazing organization like Make-A-Wish.
This class is centered around civilians with an AR-15 for personal and home defense. This class is not designed for the Navy Seal or Tier One operator. Most civilians who own an AR-15 have never taken a course on how the AR-15 is used in defense of the home or self.

This course is best for families and beginner anglers who want to improve their trout fishing knowledge. You will learn how to fish for trout in varying conditions, learn how to rig up a fishing pole, practice casting, and then head out to one of our community fishing ponds to catch some trout! Parents are encouraged to join in on the fun with their kids. Fishing licenses can be purchased at the Forrest L. Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center, at the AGFC Jonesboro Regional Office, online at www.agfc.com, or with the AGFC mobile app.

The A-State Lecture-Concert Series presents Frisson Winds in concert. Frisson Winds features the brilliant wind musicians of the explosive group Frisson. These virtuoso wind players perform a wide variety of music for winds of various combinations as well as wonderful programs of music for piano and winds.Group members are Anna Urrey, flute; Tom Gallant, oboe; Bixby Kennedy, clarinet; and Rémy Taghavi, bassoon.
