Andrew Peterson presents Behold the Lamb of God

Join storied Nashville singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson as he presents the Advent song cycle Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ. Now in its 23nd year, Behold the Lamb will feature guest artists Jess Ray, The Arcadian Wild, Andy Gullahorn, Jill Phillips, and Skye Peterson along with an all-star cast of Nashville songwriters and session musicians. The concert brings the singing and playing of Peterson’s original folk-roots infused rendition of the Christmas story as it is foreshadowed in the Old Testament and brought to bear in the New.

Delta Symphony Orchestra’s Young Artist Competition

The DSO features the winners of its nationwide 2024 Young Artist Competition and a children’s chorus from area schools. A number of our past winners have gone on to prestigious careers in music.  Don’t miss this event at the Fowler Center on the campus of Arkansas State University.
Join us on February 4th at 2 pm in Riceland Hall at the Fowler Center for the DSO’s Young Artist Concert, featuring 2023-2024 Grand Prize winners, Jun Lee and Victor Radko Shlyakhtenko, and a Northeast Arkansas junior high chorus!

Jonesboro hosts the 50th Annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism.  The three-day event is hosted by the Jonesboro Advertising and Promotion Commission.  Register here.
The annual Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism includes sessions on tourism, marketing strategies, the importance of social media, current travel trends and more. The event kicks off Sunday night with an opening reception, followed by two full days of educational sessions and culminating Tuesday night with an awards banquet.
