A Broadway Dreams Cabaret

THE LINK THEATRE will present a BROADWAY DREAMS CABARET on Thursday night, May 14th 2026!
The Link Theater Company will present its very first Cabaret night featuring the “Broadway Dreams” of its Northeast Arkansas rising and veteran stars. It will spotlight the leads of the Jonesboro, Valley View and Nettleton High School musicals this Spring. The Cabaret will also highlight the talents of the high school theatre departments’ faculty.
The event will be directed by Molly Simpson, who was the head of the acting program at Arkansas State University for 30 years. She holds her BFA in Speech and Theatre, Arkansas State; her MA in Speech and Theatre, Arkansas State; her MFA in Acting, University of Southern Mississippi; HB Studio, NYC; New York Conservatory Dramatic Arts, NYC; TVI Studios, Los Angelos. Molly has directed 90 stage productions and has appeared in numerous stage productions including: Lady Macbeth, Macbeth, Southern Theatre; Sing for Your Supper, Regional Tour; Essie, You Can’t Take it With You, Arkansas Repertory Theatre; Eva Peron, Evita, Playhouse on the Square; As Long As a Child Remembers, Arkansas Opera. Extensive Commercials and training films as well.
Students in grades 7-12 and adults are encouraged to audition. Auditions will be held at Studio 402 in downtown Jonesboro on Sunday, March 15th from 12-3pm and Monday March 16th from 3-5:30pm. Please message the Link Facebook Page for audition information and to make an appointment.
