Triple Swing is excited to bring pickleball back for its second year. This event will be in tournament format and is open to all ages and levels. The indoor courts at RidgePointe Country Club will give players a respite from the heat of an Arkansas Summer, while being right next to the action of the golf tournament. Play will take place in two flights 5-6:30 and 6:30-8:00. Players will receive a colored arm band for their flight and refreshments. Snacks and mobile bar available for players only. Six days that are literally off the beaten path. The Arkansas Graveler wraps up its cross-state ride with a big party in Jonesboro! Details are still coming in, but make sure you make it to A-State’s Campus on Friday, June 28th and join the party.
Don’t miss the free fireworks display at Nettleton Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 3rd! Food trucks will be out in force if you want to get there early. Plenty of fun for the kids before the fireworks start.

LEAP stands for Learning Expression through Arts Programming. This event holds a special place at FOA as it is open to the public for free. This year, it will take place at The Forum Stage on July 11th, 2024, starting at noon (12:00 PM). The performance lasts about 30 minutes, followed by a small reception in the theatre lobby. While tickets are free, donations are welcomed to support the LEAP Program, which is a collaboration with Abilities Unlimited. Our team at FOA works closely with them to create this inspiring show.
Jonesboro Cycle & ATV is hosting its monthly Bike Night at its huge facility in Bono. The free event has food trucks, give-aways, music and plenty of cool rides!
Come out for our July Comedy at the Rec Room, July 12 @ 8pm! NEA Comedians features the hilarious Alexi Barrientos hot off the recording of his album. He weaves tales of his experiences as a Chilean immigrant living in the South. We will also feature up and coming funny man Adam Maldonado, local favorite Bryce Moore and others. Hosted by the Queen of Comedy herself coming off her first headlining show, Allison McArthur.
JYPN Annual Conference will be held this Friday, August 2, at the Wildflower Event Venue – located at 3410 East Johnson Ave., Ste. M, Jonesboro, AR 72401. This FREE Conference, sponsored by Empower and Craighead Electric Cooperative, will kick off at 8:30 AM with breakfast and refreshments.
