AYSSP Format Youth Tournament

Join us for the 1st of our 3 AYSSP Format Youth Trap Tournament on Saturday March 4th. All teams guaranteed 50 shots on preliminary round, with top 8 teams in both age divisions advancing to a bracketed 25 shot shoot off. Indoor Triathlon

We’re starting off the Get in Gear Series with our Indoor Triathlon. Join us Saturday March 11th, at St. Bernards Health & Wellness for this one of a kind event. If you’ve ever wanted to do a tri, this is the perfect event for you. Swim 300 meters in our lap pool, head upstairs to our stationary bikes and ride for 5 miles, then jump on a treadmill to finish with 2 miles. Very beginner friendly and family friendly for everyone to come watch.

NEA Rugby Club
This Spring the Jonesboro Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Jonesboro Chiefs RFC, a Men’s Rugby Club to offer Rookie Rugby to the Citizens of Jonesboro.
The Junior Chiefs Rugby Club is a self paid program dedicated to giving children in Northeast Arkansas the chance to participate in the game of Rugby. Rugby is rapidly growing in popularity in the United States, especially here in Northeast Arkansas, and the success of the Arkansas State University Rugby program over the years has brought about a new level of interest in this area.
The Club focuses on a sense of community to grow the program while teaching youth the fundamentals of this great game. Our program currently utilizes Rookie Rugby which is a fun, safe, non-contact version of the sport that helps to develop and teach the necessary skills needed to take the next step to tackle rugby.
Registration is currently underway and the deadline to participate in this spring’s program will be March 27th.
Practice will begin the week of March 30th, with games to be held on Saturdays at Joe Mack Campbell Park.

Athletic Tops / Bottoms that will be ok getting dirty/muddy/wet

Ages: 5-12 years old
Target Golf is a team oriented game played at Craighead Forest Park. Teams will compete for points based on their shots on the target.
Instruction designed to provide the beginning golfer and the experienced individual with a comprehensive, easy to understand method, that will bring fun, success and enjoyment to their game of Golf.
This program has a spring and fall registration period. Current registration will run until April 30th, 2023 at 11:59 pm.
Registration for the league is $35 per player. There is a limited number of confidential scholarships available by request.
Schedule:
Tentative Start Date is May 9th, 2023
Practices will be every Tuesday and Thursday at approximately 5:30pm.
Practices are expected to be one hour and fifteen minutes in duration.
Competition will not start until at least the 3rd week of the program.
Clubs are provided for use at no additional cost for practice/game locations only. You are welcome to bring clubs for your child if you already own them.
Due to any weather, dates and times may be changed or amended.
Tentative End Date is June 15, 2023
