Chree Explorations is a solo exhibition of work from NEA artist and A-State alumna Mandy Mooneyham
Chree Explorations invites you into uncharted landscapes of thought and memory. Each piece reveals a new terrain where nature and structure intertwine, guiding viewers through the evolving spaces of the mind.
Mandy’s first Chree emerged in 2009, and despite exploring other artistic styles over the years, the Chrees have remained central to her practice. Over time, Mandy has refined this visual language, allowing it to evolve into her primary focus. The Chrees—chair-rooted trees—serve as a visual metaphor for how our minds grow, adapt, and retain memories.
The reception for this exhibition will be held on June 11 from 5-7pm.
