Explore the Heart of Yoga!
Join your community in exploring the world of yoga which is much more than practicing poses on a mat. Every other Saturday starting March 21- Oct 3, 2026.
We’ll be meeting near the Jerry Bookout Memorial Playground, and I’ll have yard sign so you know you’re in the right place. There is parking and a bathroom close by.
This is a free event however donations are welcome. If you decide to donate you are:
– Offering reparations to the indigenous peoples of Arkansas, USA
– Helping to empower women and children in India, where Yoga was first codified and practiced for over 5,0000 yrs.
– Creating more accessible yoga classes for your community

Bring a Yoga mat, towel, or blanket and your own hydration. Dress in clothes you can move comfortably in.
We’ll be sitting for the first 30 mins of class, so if sitting on the ground isn’t comfortable you have a few options:
1. Bring an extra towel/blanket, hard pillow, or block to sit on. Raising the hips above the knees and help tremendously.
2. Bring a foldable chair. We will not be using the chair during the practice portion of class to ensure student safety.
Note that all classes will take place if the weather permits.
